Our Sensory Treasure Hunt during Mental Health Week was a wonderful celebration of mindfulness, creativity, and human connection.
Participants embarked on a beautiful sensory journey through MiPlace Hub, engaging with carefully designed stations that awakened all five senses. From singing karaoke and savouring different chocolates to exploring the vibrant colours, scents, and textures around the space, everyone approached each station with curiosity and joy.

One of the most touching moments came when participants wrote their own "Take a little step to..." notes and hung them up for others to discover. These heartfelt commitments ranged from "stop a little more often and sing" to "play more often and relax." Each note served as a gentle reminder that wellness isn't built through grand gestures - it's cultivated through small, intentional steps we take every day.

The activity beautifully demonstrated how mindfulness and self-care can be both simple and profound. By slowing down and truly experiencing the world around us, we reconnect with ourselves and each other in meaningful ways.
Thank you to everyone who participated and brought such wonderful energy to the event. A special acknowledgment to the NT Mental Health Coalition for setting this year's inspiring Mental Health Week theme that guided our activities.
